Mandie Crawford is an outspoken business owner advocating following ones dreams. A former Police Officer, she founded Roaring Women in 2004 with one meeting in Hamilton, Ontario. Since then she has grown the organization to include 19 national chapters including one in Seattle, WA. Her voracious appetite for new information, statistics and
trends has kept her on the leading edge of a minority of trend
spotters. Her ability to turn that information to the benefit
of business and consumer helps her to provide unique win-win
situations for both.
Ms. Crawford is a two time nominee for Athena and was nominated as “Most Powerful Women in Canada – Top 100” for 2006. She has spoken at The Women of Influence Series in Calgary. McMaster University has called her "Canada's Guru of Women Entrepreneurs".
Ms. Crawford is a former Hamilton Spectator columnist who interviewed over 500 women entrepreneurs, and has self published two business books, “7 Simple Principles” and “When Every Second Counts”. More about her books can be found here - 7
Simple Principles and When
Every Second Counts.
She has also recently launched “The Coaching Coach” – an RV which Roaring Women purchased and she is taking across the country to offer encouragement and education to women in business, in partnership with STAPLES Business Depot.
Finally, a Certified Behaviour Specialist, Ms. Crawford trains organizations and individuals to understand their own personalities and motivations and then apply this information to enhance communication with others.
